Community Bank announces promotion
Community Bank-Wheaton/Glen Ellyn has announced that Flo Diederich has been recognized for outstanding performance by her recent promotion.
Diederich has been promoted to senior vice president and division head for Residential Mortgage Lending.
Diederich joined the bank in July 2006 as a vice president and has been instrumental in developing a successful full-service mortgage lending department.
"Flo has played a key role in developing Community Bank's mortgage business over the last three years. Through her efforts and those of her staff, we now have one of the most premier mortgage departments in our market," said Scott Hamer, president and CEO of Community Bank.
Diederich has been active in the community, having served many local organizations. She has worked with Illinois Housing Development Authority, DuPage Homeownership Center, Community Housing Association of DuPage, Bridge Communities and World Relief to facilitate the mortgage needs of their clients.
A longtime Wheaton resident, Diederich lives in the community with her husband, Bruce Diederich.
Over the years, Diederich has been involved with St. Francis High School Parent Organization and St. James Home School Organization.
Community Bank, with assets in excess of $322 million, has more than 500 shareholders, a majority of whom are area residents, and is led by a board of directors who live or work in Wheaton and Glen Ellyn.
