Trick or treat: Children are invited to a special trick or treat event sponsored by the Downtown Wheaton Association. Participating businesses will provide treats for children from 3 p.m. until treats run out Oct. 31. Wheaton's citywide trick or treat hours are from 3 to 7 p.m.
Sunday
Organ recital: Jonathan Hope will give an organ recital at 4 p.m. at St. Michael Catholic's Church in Wheaton. He will play works by Saint-Saens, Bach, Liszt and others. Visit www.stmichaelcommunity.org.

DuPage PADS breakfast: DuPage PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter) will hold its seventh annual Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast at 7 a.m. in the Krasa Center at Benedictine University in Lisle. Holiday Bazaar: The Wheaton Newcomers Club will hold its Holiday Bazaar from 6 to 9 p.m. at St. Daniel the Prophet Church, 101 W. Loop Road in Wheaton. The event will feature a variety of items for sale including handmade jewelry, handbags, accessories, clothes and more. There is a $5 entry fee. Visit www.wheatonnewcomers.org.
Concert at Wheaton College: Wheaton College will host a concert featuring the music of Molly Jenson, Strand of Oaks, Samantha Farrell, and Milano at 7:30 p.m. The performance will take place in Coray Gymnasium at 421 N. Chase St. in Wheaton. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Tickets are available at the Wheaton College Bookstore or online at www.foggedclarity.com.

Capsule ceremony: Wheaton invites residents to take part in a dedication ceremony for a time capsule to be buried at 9 a.m. Nov. 7 in front of City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St.
Cantigny 5K walk: Cantigny Park will host a 5K run and walk Nov. 7. Proceeds will benefit the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans. Registration for the 9 a.m. race is limited to the first 800 entries. Registration is available at signmeup.com/64763. The entry fee of $25 includes a running shirt. Wagon tours: This fall, wagon tours of St. James Farm Forest Preserve in Warrenville will be offered. The tours will be available from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 7, 8, 21 and 22. The wagon is pulled by a tractor and can accommodate six adult passengers. On each tour, participants are accompanied by a volunteer sharing the natural and cultural features of the historic St. James Farm. Tours leave from the pavilion near the parking area. Free concert: The Windy City Harmonica Club will present a free concert at Wheaton Public Library, 225 N. Cross St., at 2 p.m. The group plays songs from the 1930s through the 1960s. Free tickets are available at the library or may be reserved by calling 630-868-7516. Visit www.wheatonlibrary.org.
