Area agencies that provide hunger relief are straining under the weight of an unprecedented number of mouths to feed. It wasn't an unexpected development. As unemployment levels continue to rise in seeming defiance of data suggesting the nation's recession is on the wane, more families than ever are reaching for help with bringing home the bacon. It's happening across the country and in Naperville as well.
