Concerts coming up at Wheaton College
Three concerts are coming up at Wheaton College in Wheaton.
The college's conservatory will present a concert titled "A Celebration of Music by Haydn" at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18.
The event, coordinated by Mary Hopper, is a mentoring concert with conservatory faculty and students performing together. The program includes both vocal and instrumental chamber music.
In celebration of the 200th anniversary of Haydn's death, they will perform a string quartet, piano trio, wind ensemble and vocal duets.
The performance will take place in Pierce Memorial Chapel, on the southeast corner of Washington and Franklin streets in Wheaton. Tickets are available only at the door and cost $6 for adults and $4 for students and seniors over 60.
The Wheaton College Concert Choir will perform a concert at 8 p.m. Nov. 20.

The Wheaton College Symphonic Band, under the direction of Timothy Yontz, will be in concert at 8 p.m. Nov. 21. The performance will take place in Edman Memorial Chapel.
