STNG NEWS ALERTS ::
Wheaton firefighters, with the help of the West Chicago, Warrenville and Bartlett fire departments, extinguish a fire Friday at Briar Glen Elementary School in Wheaton.  (Terence Guider-Shaw/Special to The Sun)
Neighbors crowded around yellow caution tape Friday, watching firefighters extinguish a blaze that began atop Briar Glen School in Wheaton. Two minor injuries were reported. Wheaton Fire Chief Greg Berk said the fire started on the south end of the building at about noon while summer repair work was going on at the school.

A new bobcat at Willowbrook Wildlife Center in Glen Ellyn was hit by a car in southern Illinois three years ago. The head injury he received caused permanent vision problems, leaving his eyes sensitive to light. "His condition will leave him permanently disabled and prevent him from living in the wild," the center's wildlife keeper says.

Fortunately, my client has been preparing financially for years, so he is not concerned about the financial impact college can have on a family's finances.
