The downtown Wheaton post office marked its 75th anniversary July 1 with the unveiling of the official pictorial postmark cancellation depicting the occasion. The ceremony took on added significance when a new bronze plaque also was unveiled that will let people know that the building's cornerstone was installed July 1, 1933, and the time capsule inside the cornerstone won't be opened until July 1, 2033.
