When Dianne Jedlicka gives a riding lesson, her students learn about more than just horses. Jedlicka brings physics, geometry, anatomy, mathematics and even music into the experience. Jumping fences can teach about angles. "I can keep somebody entertained and work up a sweat in that 45 minutes on the lunge line," said Jedlicka, who lives with her husband, John Kriz, and son, Alexander, on 10 acres in Green Garden Township, just south of Frankfort.
