The Plainfield North High School football team completed its regular
season with an impressive 43-0 Southwest Prairie Conference win over
neighborhood District 202 rival Plainfield East Friday night.
Adams shines for PFS in win over Oswego E.
It's becoming all too familiar for the Plainfield South football team.
For the second straight year, the Cougars finished 5-4 and will likely
miss the playoffs after a 40-15 win over Oswego East.

'Hammers offer Rush a piece of Joliet pie
The Joliet JackHammers have reached out to conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh to become an investor in the franchise. Now that he will no longer be part of the group looking to purchase the St. Louis Rams, he may have some funds available to invest somewhere else.

Plainfield Central drops a heartbreaker
It was a gamble.
And it paid off.
For Oswego, that is. On 4th-and-5 in the second overtime and trailing Plainfield Central 24-21, the Panthers decided to go for the win rather than kick the tying field goal.
Oswego's Ryan West completed a 5-yard touchdown pass to Sean Danielson to come away with a 27-24 Southwest Prairie Conference win.
Plainfield N. takes its fifth vs. Oswego E.
Kapri Bibbs scored 4 touchdowns and rushed 26 times for 244 yards as
Plainfield North High School (5-2, 3-2) defeated Oswego East 41-6
Friday night in Southwest Prairie Conference play.
