the Plainfield South High School girls basketball team are required to

Saying thanks to 'Coach'
Honoring a coaching legend is not always easy. But the Troy School District found a fitting way to honor recently-retired Noel Blasing, a longtime teacher and coach. The Troy School District named the basketball court in the Troy Middle School gymnasium Noel Blasing Court.
Plainfield South boys finish 15th in state
The Plainfield South boys cross-country team wrapped up its first state appearance in five years with a 15th-place finish in Nov. 7's Class 3A state meet at Detweiller Park in Peoria.

2010: Hammers play 50 at home

schedule, which includes 50 home games. The Hammers will begin play
Friday, May 21, in Fargo, N.D., against the defending Northern League

the Southwest Prairie Conference championship with a thrilling 21-13
victory.
PFN runs past district rival PFE
The Plainfield North High School football team completed its regular
season with an impressive 43-0 Southwest Prairie Conference win over
neighborhood District 202 rival Plainfield East Friday night.
Adams shines for PFS in win over Oswego E.
It's becoming all too familiar for the Plainfield South football team.
For the second straight year, the Cougars finished 5-4 and will likely
miss the playoffs after a 40-15 win over Oswego East.
