Lockport takes Plainfield Central Shootout

Lockport claimed first place in the Plainfield Central Shootout by rolling a 6,448 in the 12-team field. Plainfield South finished second with a 6,096, Minooka was fifth (5,977), Plainfield North took sixth (5,973) and Plainfield Central was eighth (5,735).

Taking medalist honors was Lockport's Kyle Anderson with a 1,380. The Porters' John Biessmann was second with a 1,344 and teammate Sam Esposito was third (1,340).

Minooka's Chris Ruffino captured fourth with a 1,329, while Plaijnfield South's Kyle Heywood and Plainfield North's Andy Humphrey tied for fifth with a 1,325.

Plainfield Central's Brian Rife had a 1,268 which was good for eighth place.

Humphrey had the day's high score with a 279. Ruffino rolled a 268, Biessmann had a 259, Anderson and Esposito had 257s and Rife a 255.

Heywood had a 250 and Minooka's Sam Biesack a 247.
