2. Shaheed B. Haadee, 33, of the 14400 block of Independence: 5:20 p.m. at Walmart, 12690 S. Route 59; charged with retail theft.

3. Valente Ortiz-Alcantara, 34, of the 900 block of Liberty Street, Aurora: 11:18 a.m. at Route 30 and Renwick Road; charged with driving while license suspended and no child restraint. He was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-DUI.

4. James J. Meredith, 24, of the 400 block of Bellarmine, Joliet, and Jeremy J. Nondorf, 30, of the 200 block of Center, Joliet: 3:15 p.m. at Discount Liquors, 16200 S. Lincoln Hwy.; both were charged with retail theft.

5. Jorge Islas-Cazares, 20, of the 1100 block of Parkwood, Joliet: 10:01 a.m. at Route 59 and Route 126; charged with no valid drivers license, no valid registration and failure to notify the Secretary of State of change of address.

6. Juan Saucedo, 28, of South Midland Avenue, Joliet: 9:48 a.m. at 143rd Street and Route 30; charged with driving while license suspended and tinted windows.

7. Darrin K. Rogers, 38, of the 1500 block of Finch: 4:26 p.m. at Drauden and Lockport; charged with DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

8. Salomon Cuatzil-Perez, 44, of the 1500 block of Cumberland, Aurora: 9:13 a.m. at Lockport and Fox River streets; charged with driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no seat belt.

9. Elisa Alvarez, 23, of the 2100 block of Cuyler, Berwyn: 1:37 p.m. at Route 59 and Pheasant Chase; charged with driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

10. Aubrey E. Fassiotto, 21, of the 11300 block of S. 224th: 1:12 a.m. at Naperville-Plainfield Road and Route 59; charged with DUI and improper lane usage.

11. James Woodard, 18, of the 900 block of Calumet, Aurora: 3:43 p.m. at Plainfield Police Department, 14300 S. Coil Plus Drive; surrendered to police on a Will County warrant for failure to appear.
