Stevennson freshman Levy earns top-10 finish at state

PEORIA – Stevenson High freshman Mackenzie Levy finished 10th here Saturday in the IHSA Class 3A (big schools) state girls cross-country meet.

Levy averated 5e:53 per mile in the three-mile race. Of the nine girls who beat her, five of them were seniors.

Libertyville senior Megan Janezic was the only other area girl in the race and she finished 66th, averaging 6:12 per mile.
