ANTIOCH
• Girls Basketball -- Katrina Holm had 11 points and Martha Arntson seven in a 30-27 loss to Grant.
GRANT
• Girls Basketball -- The Bulldogs rallied from an 11-2 deficit after one quarter to stun Antioch 30-27 in North Suburban Prairie play. Amber Potts had nine points and Gina Cellucci knocked down a pair of 3-pointers in the win.
CARMEL
• Girls Gymnastics -- Sisters Amber (37.5 total) and Kristin Mirski (36.45) finished 1-2 in the all-around as the Corsairs beat highly-regarded Prairie Ridge 144.45-139.8 in non-conference play. Lakes also competed and scored 105.7. The meet's best score was a 9.5 in vaulting by the Corsairs' Jen Zeller. GRAYSLAKE CENTRAL
• Girls Basketball -- The Rams opened Fox Valley Fox play by thumping CL Central 41-22. Megan LeBaron had 10 points and Alex Scarbro nine. The Rams (10-6 overall) have won eight of nine, with the loss to big-school powerhouse Wheeling.
GRAYSLAKE NORTH
• Girls Basketball -- Katie McGrath had 10 points and Alyssa Smith nine for the Knights in a 50-30 loss to Huntley in Fox Valley Fox play.
LAKE ZURICH
• Girls Bowling -- Steph Hoff had a 201 game and Chelbi Stromblad a 200 for the Bears in a 2,635-2,550 loss to Zion-Benton.
• Girls Basketball -- The Bears outscored Warren 19-5 in the fourth quarter to earn a 49-31 NSC Lake victory. The winners (15-3 overall, 6-1 in the league) got 12 points each from sisters Audrey and Lydia Bauer, and 11 from Gabby Chapa. WARREN
• Girls Basketball -- Joree Green had 11 points in a 49-31 loss to NSC Lake power Lake Zurich. Warren trailed 14-2 after one quarter but was down just 30-26 after three periods.
ZION-BENTON
• Girls Bowling -- Brittany Capp rolled 210-189-209--608 to lead the Bees to a 2,635-2,550 win over Lake Zurich. Lacey Ebler added a 219 game and 567 series.
