Local club qualifies three for Border Wars

Three members of the Fox Lake/Antioch-based Lakeland Predators Youth Wrestling Club excelled in a recent tournament at North Central College in Naperville, and earned the right to compete in the Illinois/Michigan Border Wars Tournament.

The Border Wars event is Saturday in Battle Creek, Mich. The three Predators on the Illinois team include Nick Koch, Pat Schoenfelder and Levi Smith. Currently, the Predators are holding registration for the 2009-2010 season. Practices started this week and alternate between Antioch and Lakes high schools.
