Spooktacular effort by Devils in big meet

The Gurnee-based Blue Devil Swim Club competed recently in the Scout Spooktacular youth swim meet in Lake Forest.

The list of Blue Devil winners included:

n Marissa Engel (200-individual medley, 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly, 400 individual medley & 50 backstroke in the girls 13-over age group).

n Paige Lettera (50 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 100 individual medley, 50 butterfly, 25 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 25 backstroke & 25 butterfly in the girls 8-under age group).

n Brian Tabourot (25 backstroke in the boys 8-under age group).

n Sean Stockwell (50 freestyle & 50 breaststroke in the boys 11-12 age group).

The Blue Devils also hosted their own Blue Devils Pentathlon.

The long list of event winners from the Gurnee team included:
