Five-week camp starts next month in Libertyville
The Lake County Blitz Youth Football Training Camp will be based out of the Libertyville Sports Complex for the second straight year, and this year's five-week weekend camp will begin in December.
Parents who want to register their children for the camp can do so at Web site www.lakecountyblitzfootball.com. Fill out the registration form and mail it to the address provided.
The camp is headed by Ismael Claudio, who has been associated with youth football in this area for many years and currently runs the Beach Park Bears youth program.
Among the instructors this year will be Dennis Porter, who has more than 30 years experience coaching young football players.
The program is for football players age 5-19.
The cost for the five-week December camp is $160. That will be followed by a six-week camp that will cost $175.
