Pair of bowlers are in the Zone

November 2, 2009

Two bowlers rolled 300 games in league play recently at Brunswick Zone in Hawthorn Lanes.

In the Majors Invitational, Adam Lyndon parlayed a 300 game into a 729 series. Bill Kalaytowicz leads the league with a whopping 235 average.

In the challenging Sport League, Curt Aemisegger defied the odds by rolling a perfect game and a 743 series.

The Sport League is the toughest league in the house, as lane conditions match those that are used on the PBA Tour. As a result, scores usually skew lower.

For example, Mark London leads the league with a 213 average. The top female bowler in the league is Tami Hess at 180.
