Trevians hold off Deerfield

Deerfield dropped a non-conference contest to host New Trier 17-6 on Friday.
The Warriors trailed 10-0 in the third quarter when they made things interesting, scoring on a 67-yard pass from quarterback Jason Hendel to Steve Eanet. The extra point was blocked, making the score 10-6.
But the Warriors could get no closer as New Trier tallied the only touchdown in the fourth quarter.
