St. Martin de Porres anniversary
St. Martin de Porres High School is marking its fifth anniversary as the school that works. More than 200 students, staff and teachers gathered Monday at the Waukegan school to celebrate. Under the national Cristo Rey model, begun in Chicago, St. Martin students work one day a week at corporate sponsored jobs to help pay for their tuition.
