Winthrop Harbor Fire Dept. anniversary
Saturday the Winthrop Harbor Fire Department celebrated its 60th anniversary. Past and current firefighters at the paid-on-premise department
celebrated with a nearly daylong event, which featured a memorial, a
parade and a picnic.
Winthrop Harbor rookie firefighter Jeff Wells competes in a hose roll and throw competition during the firefighter games. The Winthrop Harbor Fire Department celebrated its 60th anniversary Saturday in conjunction with the Village of Winthrop Harbor’s Summer Carnival at 38-Acre Park.
