County receives shipment of H1N1 vaccine

November 6, 2009

The Lake County Health Department says it received its second shipment of 15,000 H1N1 vaccine doses yesterday.

The target groups for distribution of the vaccine are pregnant women and children. The vaccine will be made available to obstetricians and pediatricians, according to Lake County Health Department spokeswoman Leslie Piotrowski. Further details about when and where the vaccine will be distributed are not yet available.
