RV RULES: The village Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a joint public hearing at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in Council Chambers at Village Hall, 325 N. O'Plaine Road, to discuss potential changes to regulations governing the outdoor parking and storage of recreational vehicles on residential lots. Also to be discussed at the hearing will be potential changes to day-care regulations in the village. GRAYSLAKE

Tax hearing: A public hearing on the College of Lake County levy will be held as part of the board meeting at 7 p.m. Nov. 17 on the Grayslake campus. The tax rate for all funds is estimated to decrease from 19.60 cents per $100 of equalized assessed valuation in 2008 to 19.10 cents this year.
