I know, I know, "The Box" triumphantly qualifies for one of my favorite adjectives, "preposterous." But if you make a preposterous movie that isn't boring, I count that as some kind of a triumph. Wanda Sykes is always up for a challenge. Bowling, sure. Comedy, definitely. Snowboarding, why not? Her challenge is juggling two TV shows, being a good mom to twin
babies and
staying on the front lines of gay rights issues. Sykes is still co-starring with Julia Louis-Dreyfus in “The New
Adventures of Old Christine,” and she’s
launching her talk show, “The Wanda Sykes Show,” which premieres today
at 10 p.m. on Fox.
