Comedy show fund-raiser for Destination Imagination

May 2, 2008

BEACH PARK -- The award-winning comedy improv group Improv Unlimited will present "Satire Night Live!" at 7:30 p.m. May 10 in the gymnasium at Beach Park Middle School, 40667 N. Green Bay Road.

Proceeds from the performance will benefit the two Destination Imagination teams going to the Global Finals on May 19.

"We were looking for a great show that everyone in the family could enjoy, while also raising money to to send our two Destination Imagination teams to the Global Finals," said teacher Eddie Katie Cranmer. "Improv Unlimited is known locally and internationally as a delightfully funny theater group that has entertained audiences in Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Europe and Japan. We can only hope people take advantage of this and witness this wonderful art. We're also excited to have some of the Destination Imagination students performing with the actors from Improv Unlimited."

Tickets are $6, available in advance by calling (847) 596-5860.
