DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING: Two experienced radiologists have joined Lake Forest Hospital's newly restructured Diagnostic Imaging Department. Drs. Michelle Lee and Lisa Miller will focus solely on the subspecialty of breast imaging. An emphasis on subspecialties is new for Lake Forest Hospital, which recently doubled the size of its imaging network. Dr. Lee comes from a faculty position at Washington University, St. Louis, Mo. She completed her radiology residency and breast imaging fellowship at Washington University after graduating from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Miller comes from the Medical College of Wisconsin where she was co-director of the Breast Imaging Section. She did a breast imaging fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where she also completed medical school and a residency in diagnostic radiology. She was an attending radiologist at Evanston Hospital and assistant professor of Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University.

New President: Brunswick Corp. of Lake Forest has named Andrew Graves , 50, president-Brunswick Boat Group. Graves most recently served as president-U.S. Marine and Outboard Boats for Brunswick. He will continue to report to Dustan McCoy , chairman and chief executive officer of Brunswick Corporation. Graves joined Brunswick in 2005, originally as president-Freshwater Group. Before coming to Brunswick, Graves was President of the Dresser Flow Solutions business of Dresser, Inc.

DISTRICT 60 RECOGNITION: Two administrators from Waukegan Public Schools were recently recognized by the Association of Latino-American Superintendents. Daniel Webster Middle School Principal Dr. Joan Brixey and District 60 Superintendent of Schools Dr. Donaldo Batiste traveled an all-expense-paid trip to San Antonio for the ALAS annual conference, where they served as presenters. Batiste and Brixey were invited to the conference after Webster was honored this past spring as one of the 10 national "Breakthrough Schools." This month, Brixey will be speaking at the National Middle School Association conference in Indianapolis, and in April she'll be a speaker at the NASSP conference in Phoenix.

Promotions: Brunswick Corp. has promoted Robert Parmentier , 48, from executive vice president-Sea Ray Group to president-Sea Ray, and Terry McNew , 47, from senior vice president-product development and engineering to executive vice president-product development and engineering, manufacturing and quality, concentrating on the Sea Ray, Bayliner and Meridian brands. Parmentier, who joined Sea Ray in 1982, replaces Richard Stone , who is leaving the company. McNew has spent more than 20 years in the recreational boating industry. Stone has led Sea Ray since 2006 and had held a number of positions since joining Brunswick in 1985.

CONVENTION ATTENDEE: Deanne Fisher , director of the Huntington Learning Center, Gurnee, attended the company's convention in late October in Nashville, Tenn.

NEW CEO: NeoPharm, Inc. has appointed Dr. Aquilur Rahman to the position of president and CEO of the Lake Bluff company, succeeding Laurence Birch , who is stepping down to pursue other opportunities. Rahman is one of the founders of NeoPharm, Inc., and helped take NeoPharm public in 1996,

NEW HIRE: Banfield, The Pet Hospital® of Gurnee, has hired Dr. Brandon Wegner as a new veterinarian. He recently graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and has been shadowing veterinarians in the Gurnee hospital for several weeks.

NEW HIRE: Cole Stremmel , a 21-year veteran of the title insurance industry, has joined the Deerfield office of Prairie Title Services, Inc., of Oak Park. Most recently, he was chief operating officer of National Land Title Insurance Co., Hoffman Estates. He has an undergraduate degree for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, a law degree from John Marshall Law School, Chicago, and and MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
