Justin W. Pruim of Naperville was honored with the Henry R. Cernota Scholarship worth $700 from the Automotive Transportation Supervisors Association. Pruim graduated in December from College of DuPage with an associate's degree in applied science in automotive service technology.

• • • Naperville's Kristen Michelle Bogusz is a recognized member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, National Leadership and Honors Organization, University of Iowa.

• • • Carolyn A. Lamb of Naperville has completed the master of medical science in physician assistant studies at the College of Health Sciences of Midwestern University in Downers Grove.

• • • Naperville residents Jennifer M. Koys, Andrew B. Larkin, Robert Nubel, Chelsea L. Sallstrom and Laurel A. Sieber have been honored with Dads Association Library Awards from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Chosen from among students who have completed their sophomore year, the award winners were among the top three students in their respective colleges or had maintained a 4.0 (out of a possible 4.0) grade-point average.

• • • Alyssa Dunne of Naperville has been selected to perform in the Lipscomb University A Cappella Singers for the 2009-10 season. Dunne, a Naperville North High School graduate, sings with the 66-member choral group. Lipscomb University is in Nashville, Tenn.

• • • Naperville residents Patricia Cruz and Donna Tracey Perchatsch were recently inducted into the Lambda Upsilon-at-large Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society in Nursing. Both are nursing students at Benedictine University in Lisle.

• • • Jeffrey Verde , a finance and economics double major from Naperville, was among those selected to join the Tippie College of Business Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma at the University of Iowa.
