Police blotter: Fraud; hit and run; theft

These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, some of the reports include when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Thursday, Oct. 29

Fraud: About 8:02 p.m., fraud committed at Fox Valley Currency Exchange, 376 S. Route 59; no further details provided.

Hit and run: About 7:12 p.m., female motorist reported being victim of hit and run near Glacier Park Avenue and Route 59.

Theft: Between 4:10 and 4:15 p.m., theft occurred at Spirit Halloween, 324 S. Route 59; no further details provided.

Theft: Sometime before 3:35 p.m., unspecified quantity of firewood stolen from home at 5324 Coneflower Drive.

Theft: Between 12:21 and 1:30 p.m., theft occurred at 1836 Freedom Drive; no further details provided.

Vehicle burglary: Between 3:30 p.m. Oct. 28 and 5 a.m., laptop computer valued at $2,200 stolen from unlocked vehicle parked outside home at 5663 Rosinweed Lane.

Wednesday, Oct. 28

Theft: Between 10 p.m. Oct. 27 and 9 a.m., set of windshield wipers and blades stolen from vehicle parked in open, underground garage of home at 522 E. Bailey Road.
