These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, some of the reports include when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.
Tuesday, Oct. 27
No driver's license: Maria Cendejas, 27; 10:51 p.m. near Beebe Drive and Route 59; charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance and improper lane use.
Theft: Between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., license plate stolen from car parked in lot outside Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St.
Hit and run: Between 1:15 and 1:35 p.m., hit and run vehicle struck and damaged vehicle parked in lot near Binny's Beverage Depot, 790 Royal St. George Drive.
Vehicle burglary: Between 11:30 a.m. and 12:39 p.m., lock pried open on vehicle parked in lot near City Club, 1163 E. Ogden Ave.
Hit and run: About 12:30 p.m., sliver or gray, older-model Nissan Maxima driven by young man wearing glasses struck black car near 75th and Washington streets and then sped away from scene.
Theft: Between 12:24 p.m. Oct. 25 and 12:24 p.m. today, sign stolen from atop company car parked outside Excel Driving School, 3075 Book Road.
Shoplifting: Amy M. Powell, 42; 11:14 a.m. at Walmart, 776 S. Route 59; charged with retail theft for taking four cans compressed air and package of matches from store without paying for them.
Hit and run: Sometime before 7:59 a.m., hit and run vehicle struck and damaged vehicle parked near Ace Lane KinderCare, 5051 Ace Lane.
No insurance: Mario A. Olivares-Lalderon, 29; near Jefferson Avenue and Route 59; charged with driving without insurance.
Saturday, Oct. 24
Theft: Between 4 and 7 p.m., woman reported being victim of theft at home at 582 Milton Drive; no further details provided.
