Police report: Telephone harassment reported

These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, some of the reports include when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Sunday, Oct. 25

Harassment: Man reported between Oct. 24 and today, estranged sister left numerous obscene messages on answering machine in his home at 2008 Sudbury St.

Burglary: About 4:10 p.m., burglary reported at home at 3720 Nicanoa Lane; no further details provided.

Hit and run: Between 12:01 a.m. and 1:17 p.m., hit and run vehicle struck and damaged window frame near front entrance to Casey's Foods, 124 W. Gartner Road, pushing frame off brick foundation.

Theft: Between 5 p.m. Oct. 24 and 1 p.m., mailbox stolen from outside home at 1909 Springside Drive.

Vandalism: Between midnight and 11:07 a.m., graffiti spray-painted on building at 120 W. Jefferson Ave.

Property damage: Between 12:01 and 8 a.m., mailbox damaged outside home at 1342 Leverenz Road.

Theft: Between 8:15 p.m. Oct. 24 and 8 a.m., two "Student Driver" signs stolen from vehicles parked in lot outside EDS Driving School, 2272 95th St.

Burglary: Between 8:30 a.m. Oct. 24 and 8 a.m. today, woman reported being victim of burglary at home at 714 Blossom Court; no further details provided.

Property damage: Between 4 p.m. Oct. 24 and 7:53 a.m., two pumpkins stolen from ground beneath mailbox outside home at 1024 Steinbeck Court; pumpkins later found splattered on pavement further down the street.

Property damage: Between 10 p.m. Oct. 24 and 7 a.m., mailbox destroyed outside home at 1919 Springside Drive.

Battery: About 2:29 a.m., man reported being victim of battery during argument in home at 818 E. Franklin Ave.

Vehicle damage: Between 8:30 p.m. Oct. 24 and 1:10 a.m., bottle of rum used to shatter window of vehicle parked outside home at 1319 Dunrobin Road.

Saturday, Oct. 24

Vehicle burglary: Between 7 and 9:30 p.m., vehicle broken into while parked in lot outside Kerasotes Naperville ShowPlace 16 Theatres, 2815 Showplace Drive; no further details provided.

Theft: About 8:58 p.m., theft occurred at Speedway, 1712 W. Ogden Ave.; no further details provided.

Theft: Between 3 and 4 p.m., boys' bicycle stolen from outside Highlands Elementary School, 525 S. Brainard St.

Vehicle burglary: Between 12:30 and 3:28 p.m., purse containing camera, identification and other property stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway of home at 3135 Kewanee Lane.

Vandalism: Between 5 p.m. Oct. 23 and 3 p.m., "Hello" spray-painted on northern exterior wall of home at 2632 Newport Drive.

Vandalism: Sometime before 11:28 a.m., "large amount" of graffiti spray-painted on power box for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway train crossing on River Road.

Driving too fast: Christopher B. Ferguson, 25; 10:07 a.m. near 75th Street and Plainfield-Naperville Road; charged with driving too fast for conditions and driving without insurance, after his vehicle struck 35-year-old woman; no injuries reported.

Property damage: Between 10:30 p.m. Oct. 23 and 8:30 a.m., concrete block hurled through window of home at 2208 River Woods Drive.

Vehicle burglary: Between 8:30 p.m. Oct. 23 and 7:30 a.m., unlocked vehicle entered while parked outside home at 3419 White Eagle Drive; no further details provided.

Theft: Between 8 p.m. Oct. 22 and 6 a.m. today, two Halloween decorations stolen from front yard of home at 1124 Burke Court.

Underage drinking: Jason C. Killa, 20; Michael Lyons, 18; Roderick Rodgers, 20; David J. Russo, 19; and Trevor R. Zirkin, 19; 2:32 a.m. at 5060 Switch Grass Lane; charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by minors.

Driving under the influence: Jeremy A. Sharrock, 23; 1:53 a.m. near 703 Prescott Court; charged with DUI.

Underage drinking: Brendan W. Kelly, 20; near 95th Street and Skylane Drive; charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

DUI: Kevin J. Dempsey, 37; near De La Salle Avenue and Route 59; charged with DUI.

Theft: Eric L. Edmonds, 23; at Rizzo's 6 W. Jefferson Ave.; charged with theft.

Friday, Oct. 23

Shoplifting: Joshua J. Meschino, 20; 11:21 p.m. at Dominick's Finer Foods, 1555 North Aurora Road; charged with retail theft for stealing liquor from the store.

DUI: Bobbi Jo Martinez, 28; 10:56 p.m. near 4083 S. Route 59; charged with DUI and speeding, for driving 67 mph in a 45 mph zone.

Theft: Between 7:30 and 10 p.m., credit card and unspecified amount of money stolen from woman's locker inside business at 526 S. Route 59.

Hit and run: About 6:01 p.m., woman reported being victim of hit and run vehicle near Brookdale Road and Route 59.

Shoplifting: Eugenia Stoynova, 59; 3:55 p.m. at Marshalls, 240 S. Route 59; charged with retail theft for taking scarf, cologne and box of chocolates from store without paying for items; goods valued at total of $38.97.

Vehicle burglary: Sometime before 2:24 p.m., woman reported vehicle broken into while parked at 410 W. Gartner Road; no further details provided.

Fraud: About 10:36 a.m., fraud reported at BP, 1983 Brookdale Road; no further details provided.

Vehicle burglary: Between 9 p.m. Oct. 22 and 7 a.m., jacket and assortment of compact discs stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway of home at 364 Dupahze St.

Property damage: Between 9 p.m. Oct. 22 and 6:45 a.m., mailbox destroyed outside home at 859 Raintree Drive.

Battery: Alicia N. Smith, 21; 6:29 a.m. at Septran Inc., 332 Fort Hill Drive; charged with battery.

Tuesday, Oct. 20

Vehicle burglary: Between 9 p.m. Oct. 19 and 5:30 a.m., stereo system stolen from unlocked car parked outside home at 1256 Whitingham Circle.
