These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, some of the reports include when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Thursday, Oct. 22

1 Burglary: A woman reported that a purse was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in an open garage at 3620 Hector Lane.

2 Operating an uninsured motor vehicle: Adriana Gonzalez, 18, was arrested at 10:44 a.m. at Route 59 and Ferry Road, and charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid driver's license.

3 Reckless driving: Bryan F. Oppenheimer, 20, was arrested and charged with reckless driving at 227 W. Bailey Road.

4 Driving with a suspended license: Oscar J. Moreno, 22, was arrested at 1:04 p.m. at 967 W. 75th St. and charged with driving with a suspended license.

5 Criminal damage to property: A resident reported that between 1 and 3 p.m., a mailbox was damaged at 552 Grimes Ave.

6 Fraud: A man reported that between 3 p.m. July 16 and 3:35 p.m. Oct. 22, a contractor failed to do home repair work at 1616 Ada Lane, despite accepting and cashing a deposit check.

7 Theft: Kmart, 1199 E. Ogden Ave., reported a theft occurred at 5:18 p.m. No other details were available.

8 Interfering with an officer: Daniel B. Hedge, 23, was arrested at 767 Inland Circle and charged with interfering with an officer.

9 Violating order of protection: Ramon G. Lewis, 28, was arrested at 861 Benedetti Drive and charged with violating an order of protection.

10 Operating an uninsured motor vehicle: Shannon M. Murphy-Jackson, 39, was arrested at 3403 Parliament Lane and charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

11 Driving on a suspended/revoked license: Steven L. Biagini, 53, was arrested near Aurora and Ogden avenues and charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license.

Friday, Oct. 16

12 Hit and run: A man reported Oct. 22 that between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Oct. 16 near Brainard and School streets, an unknown vehicle struck the driver's side mirror of his unoccupied vehicle.
