Wildflower: A small, walkable community

April 6, 2009

Bounded by Aurora and Ogden avenues and Fort Hill Drive, the Wildflower community has only six streets (technically speaking, two lanes, three circles and one drive). Perhaps its small size makes Wildflower such a close-knit community.

On a recent Monday, neighbors said "hello" from their yards, where one young girl made chalk drawings and another mother set up her stroller to go for a walk.

"Here, there's a lot more people out and walking outside," said Anmol Bajwa, 15, as he walked home from school with a friend.
