Two admitted gang members were arrested Nov. 9 in connection with a shooting Oct. 23 in an unincorporated area near Glen Ellyn.

The Nichols Library upper-level Jefferson Street entrance will be closed for replacement starting today.

Update: Five people are being treated by Glen Ellyn paramedics after a work crew struck and punctured a gas main causing a leak at College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. Check back for updates.

Good news for job seekers: Retailers like JCPenney, Toys R Us, as well as Macy's and Sears at Westfield Fox Valley mall have all been hiring for the holiday season. Naperville firefighters saved a small dog from a smoky townhouse fire Sunday morning, reportedly giving the dog mouth-to-mouth before using a special pet-sized oxygen mask to revive it. Firefighters reportedly found the unresponsive dog under a sofa.
