Lecture: The Naperville Community Art Associates and the Naperville Public Library will co-sponsor a free lecture at 7:30 p.m. at the 95th Street Library in Naperville. The title of the lecture is "Storytelling in Old Master Works at the Art Institute," and it will cover works in various media, including painting, prints, sculpture and tapestry. Multicultural Fair: "A Big Day to Celebrate Around the World" is the theme of the 11th annual Mill Street School Multicultural Fair, held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the school, 1300 N. Mill St. The public is invited for live entertainment, delicious foods, special celebrations and fun exhibits.
Music: The Union hosts an album release party for returning local artist Kevin Prchal as he unveils "Eat Shirt and Tie," a collection of nine new songs, at 7 p.m. at The Union, 129 W. Reading of original musical: North Central's visiting lecturers in the fine arts -- lyricist Matt Boresi, composer Jonathon Lynch and director/choreographer Suzy Olsen -- invite members of the public to a staged reading of their original musical titled "Lunacy," based on the Jules Verne novel "From the Earth to the Moon." Art celebration: Iroquois Club is hosting a Celebration of the Arts from 1 to 7 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. There will be a wine and cheese reception from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. Dance: Waubonsie Valley High School's Orchesis Dance Troupe presents the Fox Valley Dance Showcase at 7:30 p.m. today and at 3 p.m. Sunday. General admission tickets are available for $8 at the box office on the day of the event.
Carillon tour: Climb the 253 steps or ride the elevator to the observation deck and enjoy a spectacular view that stretches for miles. Tour hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 21.

Multicultural performance: North Central College will host "We Are One," a free multicultural performance that caps a monthlong Celebration of Peace in Naperville. Fall market: 5th Avenue Station will be sponsoring a Fall Harvest Market. The farmers will be featuring apples, squash, vegetables, seafood, free-range turkeys (also order them ahead), meats, eggs, cheese and more. ADOPT will be sponsoring a bake sale, which all proceeds go to support the ADOPT organization.
