Many of the clients I work with I consider "seasonal athletes." In other words, the season typically dictates their activity level.
I don't know about you, but when I'm stressed there seems to be no better cure than a nice piece of dark chocolate, and I certainly wouldn't turn down ice cream. Come to think of it, when I'm stressed, choices don't matter a whole lot, I just eat!
This past week I was lecturing at a conference in Maryland. On my way back home, I sat next to a new mother. As we exchanged pleasantries she asked what I was doing in Maryland. I shared that I own a personal training studio and present business lectures to health and fitness professionals.
When it comes to weight loss, there's hardly a shortage of gimmicks and gadgets promising quick weight loss or ripped abs. Sometimes they are a hit, though more often they are hype.
This past week I attended and lectured at Fitness Fusion, an IDEA conference in Rosemont. IDEA Health and Fitness Association is one of the largest health and fitness education resources in the world. Since 2000, Fusion has come to Rosemont and always offers up a diverse group of classes and networking opportunities.
