Sunrise Winter Clothing Drive: The Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise is placing boxes in the community to receive donations of coats, jackets, hats, gloves, scarves and mittens. The drive runs through Nov. 20. For locations, call 630-778-6372.

Share the Abundance Food Drive: Chiro One Wellness Centers is joining the fight against hunger by hosting its fourth annual Share the Abundance Food Drive to collect nonperishable food items to be given to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Through Nov. 23, you can donate items such as peanut butter, tuna and other nonperishable food items at Chiro One Wellness Center, 1304 Macom D. Suite 1, Naperville. Call 630-898-7774.

Holiday Showcase: The Hilton Lisle/Naperville will host a wine, cheese and chocolate Holiday Showcase from 5 to 8 p.m. at 3003 Corporate West Drive, Lisle. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Naperville-based Little Friends Inc. Tickets are $20. Call 630-505-0900, ext. 3100.

Rally for Ryan: This fundraiser on behalf of Ryan Karlin, a 7-year-old Naperville boy living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, will raise funds for the Ryan Foundation for finding a cure for DMD. Amanda's Night Out: A spaghetti dinner to assist Amanda Collins Contreras, who is a 36-year-old, four-time cancer survivor, will take place from 5 to 10 p.m. at Judd Kendall VFW 908 W. Festival 2009 French Quarter Ball: Looking for a taste of New Orleans? Make plans to come to the French Quarter Ball at the luxurious Westin Hotel, 70 Yorktown Center, Lombard, for the annual Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital Festival black-tie fundraiser, with proceeds going to benefit the Cancer Care Center and Education for Excellence. Lung Cancer Walk and Rally: The seventh annual walk and rally will take place at the Grand Pavilion at the Naperville Riverwalk. Breakfast is at 8:30 a.m. and registration begins at 9 a.m. At 10 a.m. a physician will present information on the newest lung cancer research, followed immediately by the walk. The walk is free. Fashion Show Fundraiser: The Naperville Junior Woman's Club's annual fashion show will begin at 10 a.m. at Bobak's Signature Events and Conference Center, 6440 Double Eagle Drive, Woodridge.
