The fire was reported shortly after 8:30 a.m. and crews responded to 4610 Lake Trail Drive in Lisle, near Ogden Avenue and Old Tavern Road. Tenant Sarah Waido, 22, reported flames coming out of a vent in the ceiling around 8:30 a.m.

Roads are still closed from the rainy weekend. Sgt. Randall Johnson, public information officer with the Lisle Police Department, said that as of 2 p.m., several streets in Lisle were still closed due to flooding. According to the National Weather Service, the village of Lisle saw a little more than 6 inches of rain between Sept. 12 and 14.
