Reservist deployed for Iraqi Freedom

Army Reserve Spec. Adam C. Tucek has been mobilized and activated for deployment overseas to a forward operating base in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Tucek is a visual information equipment operator-maintainer normally assigned to the 393rd Psychological Operations, based in Aurora. He has served in the military for six years.

He is the son of Jim and Debbie Tucek of Sandwich and the son-in-law of Mark and Nancy Ames of Lisle.

Operation Iraqi Freedom is the official name given to military operations involving members of the U.S. armed forces and coalition forces participating in efforts to free and secure Iraq.
