16th annual holiday craft show: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 14, Founders Center, 140 Oak St., Frankfort. Hosted by the Frankfort Park District. A diverse selection of crafters and vendors, including purses, jewelry, candles, holiday décor, furniture, floral, clothing, and much more available for purchase. Admission is free. Wine tasting: 7-9 p.m. Nov. 20, Founders Center, 140 Oak St., Frankfort. The Frankfort Park District and Wine Styles will host a wine-tasting event. Let the experts at Wine Styles teach you about the many varieties of wine you will taste. There will be wines to sample and available to order. Orders can be placed at the event, and may either be picked up at Wine Styles or shipped to your home for a fee. Hors d'oeuvres will be served. Pre-registration is required. Dec. 2 Deadline

Annual winter golf outing: 8:30 a.m. walk-up registration/best ball; 9 a.m. shotgun start Dec. 4, Green Garden Country Club, 9511 W. Manhattan/Monee Road, Frankfort. Warm meal at 2 p.m. The full package includes golf, cart (weather permitting), continental breakfast, chicken/rib dinner and one-hour open bar. Cost $70. All proceeds go to the Illinois Burn Camp. Legal aid: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. first Wednesday of the month at Senior Services Center of Will County, 251 N. Center St., Joliet. Free. If you or someone you know needs legal advice, assistance is provided by Will County Legal Assistance Inc. You will meet confidentially with the lawyer at the center.
