DivorceCare: 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, New Life Church, 500 S. Gougar Road, New Lenox. The companion program, DivorceCare for Kids, will run concurrently for children ages 5-12. There is a $6 fee for the course workbook, but no one will be turned away for inability to pay. Call 815-462-5300.
Lighthouse support group: 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursdays at Illinois House of Hope office, 9700 W. 197th St., suite 106, Mokena. The weekly group is a safe and relaxed environment for teens to find hope and encouragement. The group is open to any teen that struggles with life's confusing issues and challenges, a group where teens can find hope for the future. Organ Transplant Support Inc. (OTS): 7 p.m. meets the first Friday of the month at The North Pavilion of Good Samaritan Hospital, 3715 Highland Ave., Downers Grove. A volunteer nonprofit organization that provides support, counseling, education, and informational programs and materials on transplantation for transplant recipients, candidates, their families and health care professionals. In the Joliet area there are 65 members that are from Joliet, Bolingbrook, Plainfield, Lockport, Braidwood, Minooka, Mokena, Manhattan, Morris, Frankfort, New Lenox, Romeoville, Wilmington and Shorewood.
