Remembering the Plainfield tornado

Aug. 28 will mark the 20th anniversary of the tornado that swept through Wheatland Township, Plainfield, Crest Hill and Joliet. The tornado left 29 people dead, and 350 injured. We are planning to commemorate the disaster with a special series. If you have a story, pictures or video to share, please e-mail Sue Baker or call 815-439-5356.
