The Lemont boys golf team begins its quest today to improve upon last season's sixth-place finish in Class 2A.
The team returns to Bloomington and Illinois State's Weibring Golf Club after placing second at their own sectional held at Broken Arrow Golf Club on Oct. 12.
Top Lemont scorer was Kevin McMahon with a 79. He was followed by Rob Smierciak (80), Shane Purtle (82), Nick Szerzinski (83), Jake Groselak (84) and Kevin Kling (86)
