Providence Catholic High School recently announced its Students of the Month for September. The students were recognized for achievement, improvement and/or accomplishments in school courses as well as other school-related activities.

The honored students and the academic department they were honored in are: senior Nicole Maloney, of Joliet (fine arts); senior Morgan Altenhoff, of Homer Glen; (administration); freshman Joey Crockett, of Joliet (English); sophomore Madison Kamp, of Joliet (science); sophomore Maura Durkin, of Orland Park (mathematics); junior Patrick Maloney, of Mokena (technology); freshman Ron Zychowski, of Homer Glen (theology); sophomore Francis Barnes, of Lockport (social science and business); freshman Brett Ernest, of Homer Glen (physical education); and freshman George McCabe, of Mokena (world language).
