NEW LENOX -- Even playing away from the friendly confines of Bell Road, the Lemont boys soccer team stayed in the groove Saturday afternoon.

In the championship game of the Class 2A Lemont Sectional -- which was moved away from the Indians' off-campus soccer facility to Lincoln-Way West -- Lemont prevailed in penalty kicks over Bremen 1-0.

Lemont (21-4-1) advanced to Tuesday's supersectional at 5 p.m. against host Peoria Notre Dame.

The game was scoreless after four overtime periods and went to penalty kicks to decide which team would advance. Lemont edged Bremen 4-3 in the PK session.

The Indians were coming off a 7-0 sectional semifinal victory over Joliet Catholic Academy, with Dillon Perez leading with a pair of goals.
