JV: Lemont 2, Plainfield South 1 (9 inning) - Regan Menconi and Becka Anderson pitched for the Indians (1-0). Kirsten Luevano had 3 hits with a homer and 3 RBIs. Natalie Murray had 2 RBIs, including the game-winning hit. Lauren Sloan drove in 2 runs.

SOPHOMORE BOYS: Plainfield South won the 14-team Lockport Invitational with 222 points. Lockport was second with 210, Bolingbrook finished fourth (129) and Romeoville was fifth (128.5).

Victory Baseball 12, Troy Titans 1 - Victor Garcia, Michael Coladipietro and Arman Reyes pitched the win. Garcia had 2 hits, including a home run, and 4 RBIs. Nick Morrison had 2 hits, including a homer. Morrison, Wes Whalen and Ricky Salazar each had doubles. Reyes had 2 hits and 1 RBI. Coladipietro had 1 hit and 1 RBI. STONE CITY SUMMER CLINICS: For girls ages 8-14 from June 16-19 from 10 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-2p.m. at the Stone City Fields, 4525 W. Bell Rd. in Minooka. Camps held Monday-Tuesday and Wednesday-Thursday. Cost $25 for two days. Bring bat, helmet and glove. Balls and catching gear will be provided. T-shirts will be given out. Age groups will be 8-10 on Monday and Tuesday (June 16-17), ages 11-14 on Wednesday and Thursday (June 18-19). Camp director is Amber Podlesny, assistant coach at Loyola University.
