Madrigal dinner at L-Way East

FRANKFORT -- Tickets to the annual Lincoln-Way East High School Madrigal Dinner will go on sale to the public Nov. 14.

Tickets cost $28 each and can be purchased in the lobby of the school's auditorium, 201 Colorado Ave., beginning at 9 a.m.

Performances are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 9, 10, 11 and 12, with seating beginning at 6 p.m. A matinee also is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Dec. 12. Seating to that performance will begin at 11 a.m.

The Renaissance-style Madrigal Dinner is a popular holiday tradition for many area families, featuring a full course meal, musical entertainment and elaborate costumes.

Performing in the Madrigal Dinner will be the Madrigal Singers, Madrigal Ladies, Troubadours, Madrigal Brass, Actors and Flutes who will delight the audience with a variety of music, ranging from the Renaissance to modern day pieces.

Enrico's will cater the dinner, which will include chicken, pasta, green beans, salad, roll, dessert and beverages.

No phone orders will be taken during the public ticket sale Nov. 14.

Any seats remaining after the public ticket sale will be available for purchase through the main office of the school or by downloading a ticket order form from www.lwemusic.org and mailing it to the school with payment.
