Two hit with a crowbar in Bolingbrook
BOLINGBROOK -- Police say an ongoing fight led to two people being attacked with a crowbar early Sunday.
Lt. Mike Rompa said responding officers found a 24-year-old man with a large cut on the back of his head and a black eye around 3:20 a.m. at an apartment in the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive.
"The victims (said) Brian R. Morgan , 29, and Danielle F. Kinnaman , 21, broke into the apartment," Rompa said. "Morgan was armed with a crowbar and began striking the man repeatedly with it. When a 23-year-old woman tried to intervene she was also struck in the stomach with the crowbar."
Investigators said Morgan and Kinnaman were involved in an earlier fight with the victims and "came back for retribution."
Police put out a description of the suspects' car and soon learned Woodridge police had stopped the vehicle at Woodward Avenue and 75th Street.
Rompa said the six occupants were questioned at the Bolingbrook police department and Jessica A. Miller , 21, of 4635 Lake Trail Drive in Lisle, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance "for having cocaine in her purse."
Following the interviews, Morgan, of 8320 Adbeth Ave. in Woodridge, and Kinnaman, of 2336 Charmingfare Drive in Woodridge, were arrested and booked into the county jail on charges of home invasion and aggravated battery.
• Ricardo Contreras-Sanchez , 31, of 222 Broadway in Joliet, was arrested by sheriff's police and booked into the county jail Sunday on charges of driving on a revoked or suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
