Man beaten on Black

JOLIET -- A Joliet man told police he was walking in the 900 block of Black Road on Thursday around 7:15 p.m. when three or four men beat him up and stole his phone.

The victim told police he blacked out and doesn't remember what happened. He was taken to Silver Cross Hospital by his mother and treated for injuries to his ribs, head and legs.

In other police news:


William L. Lindsey , 27, of 739 Woodruff, Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Saturday on charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.


Richard J. Carrino , 24, of 1010 Sheila, Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Saturday on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon, retail theft, illegal possession of ammunition and possession of a firearm with no firearm owner identification card.


Richard S. Cyz , 31, of 17122 Ashwood Lane, Orland Park, was arrested by sheriff's police and booked into the county jail Saturday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.


Joshua N. Thomas , 25, of 802 Elrose Court, Crest Hill, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Sunday on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis.


Charles R. Ingram , 35, of 410 S. East St., Wilmington, was arrested by Wilmington police and booked into the county jail Sunday on a charge of disorderly conduct/disturbing the peace.


Rolando Sanchez-Florez , 25, of 1007 Plaintain, Plainfield, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Sunday on a charge of aggravated domestic battery.
