Many ways for dictatorships

Dictatorships come in different ways. Groundwork depends on what issues, past and sometimes present, have taken place within the subject country. In some cases, it starts out as a movement advancing quite quickly. Or it is laid out years in advance, taking decades to come to fruition. Looking to past history gives examples of how this type of political power structure occurs.

Improve Lockport water

Looking at all the facts, Lockport City Council members would show great insight to improve the city water supply. It makes no sense to consider Lake Michigan water. Lake Michigan water isn't completely safe. It contains medicines that aren't filtered out. Suburbs and towns are tapping into Lake Michigan water. Therefore, Lake Michigan water will become more costly. Lockport has plenty of underground water. The system only needs better maintenance and if modernized now wouldn't ever need to rely on an ever-costlier outside water source. Modernize it now at a lesser cost than in the future when towns may even be cutting off Lake Michigan water.

Bible proof that God exists

Referring to Louis Lagger's OpenLine comment that there's no proof that God exists, it kind of sounds like he wants to believe that there is no God and doesn't want to look at the proof. For example, the Bible. Has he read it? I'm guessing he hasn't. More than likely, there's a 90 percent chance neither of his parents believe in God. There's still time to change. I'm praying for you, buddy. Go to church.

Background factor in killing

This is in response to the comments regarding the negativity that's reported by The Herald- News. I believe the comments were in reference to the man killed who had just been released from jail. And I quote from the OpenLine comment, "including the background does not justify the way a victim dies." No, but it sure contributed to why he is deceased. The caller wants to point a finger and say that only negativity is pointed out. However, she had nothing positive to say about the person who was killed. If she wants to defend him, why not say positive things about him?

Our existence is benevolence

Of course God is benevolent. History is not God's responsibility but history is what we have done to each other. That we still exist is proof of God's benevolence. That he sent his son to die in our place for the sins we have done is proof of a benevolent God.
