Joliet leaf show grand

There is no need to drive hundreds of miles out of town to see leaves changing to their fall colors. We practically have the same show in the immediate Joliet area.

Mother Nature takes her paintbrush out for us, too. So, as you travel around town, glance around. Colors are all around -- east, west, north and south. A rainbow of colors they are.

A couple of examples: Western Avenue between Center and Reed streets, and Raynor Avenue between Jefferson Street and Six Corners. Hundreds more abound.

Think of the gas money you'll save. You could treat yourself to a creamy caramel apple or a freshly baked pumpkin pie. Your choice. I'll opt for both.
