Power restored to all customers

October 7, 2006

After long shifts for its workers and contractors, ComEd has restored power to the approximately 7,800 customers in Joliet who lost electricity following Monday's wicked weather, the company confirmed Friday.

The line of storms that blew through with winds of more than 70 mph knocked out power to more than 320,000 people in the Chicago area.
