Annual bridal expo to be held Jan. 21

December 29, 2006

JOLIET -- The beauty and splendor of the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet City Center will again provide the setting for the area's largest exposition of wedding products and services as The Herald News presents the Rialto's Bridal Expo 2007 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 21.

Bridal Expo 2007 tries to make wedding planning more convenient by bringing together the area's biggest names in wedding services including bridal shops, formalwear, caterers, banquet halls, disc jockeys, photographers, videographers, limousine services and more.

The event features a day full of exhibits, a fashion show produced by Mohra Gavankar on the Rialto's stage, plus free samples, many "show only specials" and thousands of dollars in Bridal Expo 2007 door prizes, including a traditional wedding ceremony at the historic Old Central Church.

The Rialto's Bridal Expo, now in its 15th consecutive year, traditionally draws a full house.

"We welcome well over a thousand attendees each year," said the Rialto's Bonnie Nix.

For tickets, call the Rialto at (815) 726-6600.

For exhibitor information, contact Vicki Murphy of J.V. Murphy & Associates at (815) 744-0835.
